Yamamba Mummy: My Son's Playful Observations

Hello Everyone!

Leon enjoys watching television.

He picks up on words and facial expressions from what he sees, so I make sure to be mindful of what I expose him to.

When he notices me getting frustrated or angry, he quietly says, "Mommy's going to turn into the Yamamba..."

And if I fell when I am walking or accidentally break something, he comments, "Mommy's Goofy."

Hearing him express these thoughts makes it quite difficult for me to stay upset for long.

As a chef, when I'm sharpening a knife and jokingly say, "Mommy's become a mountain hag," Leon yells, "Aaah! Don't eat me!" and runs away.

Though it's a playful exchange, I truly cherish these conversations and expressions.
