I am not sure what inspired Leon on this occasion, but I love this artwork! When I look at this piece I can see how much his drawing style has evolved; he often draws animals and characters in static poses, but here he has incorporated dynamic movement. Look at their eyes! It looks like Mickey is determined to win the race, and Goofy is enjoying the ride!
